Step 2 of 3

Pair your device

Pairing is what connects the physical world to S-HUB. By linking a device UID to the asset you just created, you give every transmission a home, your asset shows up on the Locate map and starts building its activity history from day one.

02Select your asset

You are now in "Set up › Assets". Use the filter to choose the asset you want to pair, you can also filter by pairing status to see, at a glance, exactly which assets still need a device. Make your selection, then click Apply.

03Start pairing the asset

You're now in "Set up › Assets". If you already know which asset you're pairing, search it directly with the Serial number filter. Otherwise, head to the Device alert column: sort it to group every asset flagged "Pair asset", or narrow things down first with the Pairing status filter in the toolbar → Unpaired. Either way, the pink Pair asset button on the row takes you straight into pairing.

04Select your device

The "Add device" window opens. Type the number printed on your physical device into Select a device, then choose the matching UID (for example LC0305-2449-002711) to confirm.

05All done

The Device UID now appears next to your asset and its status turns to "All good". The “devices to pair” counter drops by one, simply repeat these steps for any remaining assets.
